Green Waves Swim Team

You must be a year-round member of CCC or have a seasonal Pool Membership to be on the Green Waves Swim Team. Year- round membership at the Club is inclusive of the swim team for children ages 5—18.
If you are a Club Member or a Pool Member, there is no additional fee for your children to be on the swim team! Please contact Justin Verwey at 704-786-3104  for membership information. You may also visit the membership page. (Team registration opened at the in-person event Tuesday March 4th, 2025 at 4:30pm and ended April 15th.)

Practice Schedule

After school practices begin May 11th

Shrimpers:

4:15pm - 4:45pm M-Th

10 & Under:

4:45pm - 5:30pm M-Th

11 & Up:

5:30pm - 6:15pm M-Th

Summer practices begin May 26th

11 & Up:

9:00am - 10:00am M-F

10 & Under:

10:00am - 11:00am M-F

Shrimpers:

11:00am - 11:35am M-Th


**Evening practices will be held M-Th 6:00pm-7:00pm for swimmers 9 & up only, who are unable to attend AM practice.**

  • Sat, May 30th – Green/White Meet
  • Tues, June 2nd – at Laurel Park (A) 
  • Tues, June 9th – YBD at CCC(H) 
  • Tues, June 16th – Sheffield Manor at CCC (H)
  • Tues, June 23rd – at Monroe (A)
  • Tues, June 30th – CSC at CCC (H)
  • Fri, July 10th - Sat, July 11th -- Conference 
 
Home meets are at 4:30pm and away meets are at 5:00pm. Warm ups are 30 mins prior to meet.
Pool closes at 3:00pm on afternoon
