Q1. What is Cabarrus Country Club?
Cabarrus Country Club is a member-owned country club developed to serve the golfing and social needs of its members. Cabarrus Country Club provides a variety of social activities, events, and services for its members and guests.

Q2. What type of club is Cabarrus Country Club?
Cabarrus Country Club is a member-owned private golf and recreation club featuring an 18-Hole Championship George Cobb designed course. We offer fine dining to casual meals; an outstanding golf course, active tennis, pickleball, swimming programs, and individual instruction.

Q3. What is the primary purpose of Cabarrus Country Club?
The primary purpose of Cabarrus Country Club is to own and operate a private club, including a golf course, clubhouse, tennis courts, swimming pool, restaurant and other facilities common to country club enviroments, for the pleasure and benefit of its members and their guests.

Q4. What is a member-owned club?
In a member-owned club, members influence the Club by implementing a right to vote. The membership elects a Board of Directors that oversees the operation of the Club. Members own and control the club facilities and ultimately determine the rules and costs of membership privileges.

Q5. How do I become a member?
We encourage you to contact our Membership and Marketing Director, Diana West, for information. Diana will explain the membership opportunities. Applicants are presented to the Board of Directors for ultimate membership approval.

Q6. Can memberships be transfered directly to any other person?
Memberships are not transferable.

Q7. Is the number of memberships in the Club limited?
Per our By-Laws, we are limited to 425 Full memberships.

Q8. What types of memberships are offered at Cabarrus Country Club?
  • FULL  MEMBERSHIP: A Full  Membership permits the primary member and immediate family the use of all facilities provided at Cabarrus Country Club and the ability to attend any club sponsored event. 
  • YOUNG PROFESSIONAL I  MEMBERSHIP – AGES 21 - 29: A Young Professional I Membership permits the primary member and immediate family the use of all facilities provided at Cabarrus Country Club and the ability to attend any club sponsored event.
  • YOUNG PROFESSIONAL II  MEMBERSHIP - AGES 30 - 34: A Young Professional II  Membership permits the primary member and immediate family the use of all facilities provided at Cabarrus Country Club and the ability to attend any club sponsored event. 
  • YOUNG PROFESSIONAL III  MEMBERSHIP - AGES 35 - 39: A Young Professional III  Membership permits the primary member and immediate family the use of all facilities provided at Cabarrus Country Club and the ability to attend any club sponsored event. 
  • WEEKDAY COUPLE GOLF MEMBERSHIP: A Weekday Couple Golf Membership permits the member and spouse weekday use of practice facilities, golf course, full use of clubhouse dining and special events.
  • STUDENT MEMBERSHIP: A Student Membership is for a high school or college student, permits the member the use of all facilities provided at Cabarrus Country Club and the ability to attend any club sponsored event. 
  • SPORTS/SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP: A Sports/Social Membership permits the primary member and immediate family the use of clubhouse for dining and special events, use of pool and tennis facilities.
  • NEIGHBOR SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP- Asheford Green & Foxlaire: A Neighbor Social Membership permits the primary member and immediate family the use of clubhouse for dining and special events, use of pool and tennis facilities for the residents of Asheford Green and Foxlaire.
  • SENIOR DINING MEMBERSHIP: A Senior Dining Membership (ages 60 and older) permits the member and immediate family the use of clubhouse for dining and special events.
  • POOL MEMBERSHIP: A Pool membership permits the primary member and immediate family the use of the pool for the pool season including poolside dining. The pool season starts Memorial Day weekend and ends Labor Day. A pool membership includes swim team for children ages 5 – 18. No clubhouse dining privileges or use of the golf or tennis facilities are included with the Pool Membership.
  • CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP 2 – 3 – 4: A Corporate Membership permits the use of the facilities provided at Cabarrus Country Club by designees currently employed by a documented corporation or business that has been established and actively conducting business. All designees and qualifying family members will have full rights and privileges provided under the membership category selected by the corporation. The corporation may reassign designees. All designees may be billed separately and shall be responsible for payment of their individual account. The corporation shall ultimately be held responsible for payment of all individual accounts.
Q9. What am I obligated to pay for a membership in the Club?
You are obligated to pay a one time membership initiation fee determined by the Club at the time of joining. You will also be responsible for the annual capital assessment as well as any continuing assessment obligations at the time of joining or while you are a member.

Q10. Will there be dues or food and beverage spending minimums?
Each member will be responsible for monthly dues and a monthly food and beverage minimum as is customary at fine clubs. Fees levels will be determined by the type of membership.

Q12.What facilities are offered at Cabarrus Country Club?
Members, their families and guests will enjoy the following club facilities:
  • Clubhouse: overlooks the practice putting green, driving range, practice chipping area, the first tee and the tenth tee, and the ninth hole of the golf course. As the center for the Club's activities, the Clubhouse offers the Overlook Bar & Grill, Kitchen facilities, Atrium, Pine Room, Cardinal Room, and Dogwood Room (used for member and non-member sponsored parties and banquets), a top-of-the-line golf pro shop, men's and women's locker room facilities, the Men's Lounge, Ladies Card Room, and offices for the Club's administration team.
  • Golf Course: Rated Concord's Hidden Gem, Cabarrus Country Club features an 18-hole Championship George Cobb designed course. Members enjoy year round golfing events organized by its Golf Committee and run by its exceptional golf professional team. Practice facilities include driving range, chipping area with bunker, and a putting green all located outside of the Clubhouse.
  • Tennis Complex: Cabarrus Country Club's tennis facilities include four hard surface courts and four Har Tru courts, lighted. Novices and advanced players alike will find an enjoyable tennis experience at Cabarrus Country Club. Our Tennis Pro Shop is located between our Tennis Courts.
  • Pool: Cabarrus Country Club's swim program features a Junior Olympic size swimming pool with a diving well. A large, expansive patio provides ample room for sunning, lounging and family fun. Amenities include pool side dining, locker rooms, showers and restrooms. The Club has a competitive Summer Swim Team program (Green Waves) and offers group and individual lessons to children of all ages.

Q13. Will my family members be welcome at the Club?
The gift of spending quality time with members of your family is priceless. The Club is committed to providing an enjoyable environment where this can be accomplished. The definition of a family guest includes: Member's children, grandchildren, mother, father, sister, brother, and their spouses/spousal equivalent. Family Guest Regulations are available through the membership office.

Q14. May I invite guests to the Club?
Having your friends enjoy the Club's facilities with you is a wonderful attribute of membership in the Club. Guest - a guest is a person entertained in one's house and a person to whom hospitality is extended. Guest Regulations are available through the membership office.

Q15.What is the golf course like?
Cabarrus Country Club is a family-friendly club with a mature tree-lined golf course designed by George Cobb. Known throughout the Carolinas for its playability, the course is perfect for both avid golfers and beginners. The course can be played from six different sets of tees for men and three sets of tees for women, with total yardage ranging from 4,366 to 6,986 yards. At Cabarrus Country Club, golfers are given a choice of walking  or riding the course anytime of the day.

Q16. Are there many member golf tournaments at Cabarrus Country Club?
Cabarrus Country Club hosts an even amount of tournaments for men, women, juniors and couples throughout the year.

Q17. How far in advance can I make a tee time?
Full Equity members may make tee times up to 15 days in advance and all other golfing members may make tee times up to 14 days in advance by either calling the golf shop at 704.786.8154 or via the Club's website using the online tee time system.

Q18. What is the appropriate dress attire?
Fitness and pool attire is not acceptable in the Clubhouse at any time. Approved tennis and golf attire is permitted in the Clubhouse for lunch in the Overlook Bar & Grill. Dress denim is permitted in the Clubhouse.

Appropriate golf attire is acceptable at all times in the Atrium and Overlook Bar & Grill, including the evening hours.

Special evening events requiring specific attire willl identify the appropriate dress in promotional communications for the event.

Q19. How do I host a party at Cabarrus Country Club?
Private parties are welcome at Cabarrus Country Club. Hosts are required to book a date and room/location through the Food and Beverage Manager who will work with the Host to create a lasting memory.

Q20. How do I book my event?
In order to book an event, a deposit and signed contract is required. When booking a holiday party or Saturday night event, it is recommended that you book as soon as possible as those are the most popular days.
